Friendship Day!
HAVE FRIENDS, BE HAPPY!
Hi friends !
I last conversed with you, after touring Japan! I take this opportunity again today, as it is 8th June, Friendship day! Happy Friendship Day!
2026 is almost half gone! We have experienced a lot of unexpected happenings
during this year! The war, the detouring of flights, political upheavals in
India and abroad, height of summer temperatures, virus peeping around the corner
and so on! A year that has truly held us at a tenterhook, a year that has been totally
unpredictable and a year that doesn't know what is coming up next? We all are
in a sort of confused state of mind, not knowing what will come up and how
do we take it all?
What best can we do in such a situation?
I believe what we can do is "BE HAPPY!"
It’s a great wealth to be able to be happy! It is a
function of Positive Thinking, some Special
Skills, a Great Mind-set and Active Actions! I know it’s difficult in confusing,
unpredictable situations but then, what's the harm in trying?
I have tried out some things, which I am putting down before you, see if
it helps?
First thing we can do is not to think about the past or the future and
Live in the Moment!
Stressing about the past doesn't make one happy and worrying about the
future wouldn't make one happy! Let’s try to focus our energy on the
present. The present moment is the only one we have and we can do something
about it! We can learn from our past errors but without lingering on it and we
can plan for the future without getting too involved in it!
In such a situation, friends around can help us make it through! They
are like knights in shining armours. They help us smile and laugh, take steps
when we don’t want to and make life worth living!
A point comes in life, when one feels aimless, useless, with no one
around to share your pains. This is when friends jump in, making you eat, talk,
laugh, be happy and get involved. Don’t lose your friends, whatever happens!
A friend in need, is a friend indeed,
One who is open and always candid!
A friend is always needed,
To share your woes,
Doesn’t allow you to sit,
Makes you dance on your toes!
A friend senses depression,
Tactfully takes you out of it!
Steers you towards life and its takings,
Urging you to shape it!
A few minutes a day with friends,
Is the prescription for happiness,
Keeping all parameters normal,
Keeping one away from worries, a health harness!
Friends are healing forces that boost immunity,
They reduce stress and help with sanctity!
Every moment is a gift from God, so let's cherish it and focus on the
good that's happening in this moment! Let us thank God for that He has given us
which many do not have!
Happiness is inborn, innate, inside us, it can’t be concocted! It’s in
our own hands to be happy! Create your own happiness by being grateful and
living in "NOW!"
Bless me and my people, my God,
Give me strength to face all odd,
I would remain grateful to you,
For giving satisfaction and happiness,
in the sense true!
