WE HAVE ENCROACHED UPON THEIR HOMES,
LET'S THINK OF THEM!

These lines beautifully express the feelings of a cobra, displaced from his natural home, because of human activities.

विसावायला नाही घर,
नाही उरले राउळ,
आता झाडांच्या बुंध्याला,

मीच मानले वारूळ!

 "No home for a shelter,
Neither a temple for a prayer!
My nest is now a meager,
Tree base, in despair !!"

Have you ever thought about this? When we build our homes, we are acquiring natural surroundings, where once upon a time, animals lived! They are not living with us, we have encroached upon their homes. The lizards, cockroaches, the ants, the rodents that live around us, have nowhere to go! We have acquired their natural habitats! Are we worthy of doing that?
They have a natural ecological cycle, which has been disturbed by us! Are we doing anything, anything that can repair the damage? Think about this.

Do comment on this, give suggestions, think of measures to restore the balance and have a nice day!
