As we extend a hearty welcome to the upcoming 2026,

We bid a farewell to 2025, as the clock ticks!

As we close the twenty twenty-five chapter,

We need to retrospect about the tears and laughter!

The fears and tears of the Pahalgam attack,

The aftermath of Sindoor operation did crack!

The Ahmedabad flight that crashed, rising heartbeats,

Cancelation and delays of flights, creating mass cheats!

Maha Kumbh Mela was a totally religious grand affair,

Pilgrims world over joined at the rivers’ confluence fare!

He-man left fans in tears, with his passing away,

A grand era of yesteryears, definitely at bay!

A historic, landslide victory and Delhi political power shift,

Marked the year with hopes, beliefs and frustrations adrift!

The digital agricultural mission for facilitation of farmers, 

Digital education and HR portals for students and workers!

Indian Women Cricket World Cup win was a silver lining to a cloud, grey and dark,

As we glide across to the upcoming year, full of hopes of positive changes and spark!

Things will happen continuously, life goes on and on,

Do they truly impact our lives, let us ponder and move on!  

Lets think of our lives and a few moments cease,

Lets be grateful for what we have and be mentally at peace!

In the turmoil all around and global unease, 

Take a pause to think what happiness really is?

Its opening eyes in the morning, happy that they did,

It’s being alive and ticking, in spite of odds, being candid!

It’s being able to stand on your own legs and walk,

It’s being able to think, meditate and talk!

Listening to your favourite music and song,

Being able to hum and sing along!

Having our dear ones and friends all around,

Keeping us mentally healthy and sound!

It’s being able to eat, whenever and whatever!

It’s being grateful to HIM, for everything forever!

Let’s be minimalistic, utilizing every resource kindly,

God has given us in bounty, it’s his call finally!!!
